Passenger Counter
ETH variant, OT3 thermal class (-25 °C to +70 °C).
Ethernet Switches
Onboard network for rail rolling stock.
Lighting
NRL001 bars — EN 50155 / EN 50121-3-2 test passed (ISQ, 2023).
Onboard network → ground
What stays on board, what reaches the ground
What each system records on board is only worth something once it reaches the ground. The PCC — Central Control Room — is NSS's platform for that side: where the fleet is tracked, an incident is handled and what to do next is decided. The integration sold today (via SAE) is on the road side; for rail rolling stock, connecting the onboard network to the PCC is handled case by case, using the same network protocols already in use on board — Ethernet, managed switches.
Diagram — not to scale, not a real installation topology. The dashed line marks that this connection is not, today, a packaged product. See PCC for the detail of the platform.
